Modelling Dynamic Recrystallization of A356 Aluminum

The flow stress and dynamic recrystallization behavior of A356 aluminum alloy was studied, with a strain rate ranging from 0.001 s−1 to 1 s−1 and temperature ranging from 300 to 500 °C. Both the true stress–strain curves and microstructure examination of A356 aluminum alloy indicated that dynamic recrystallization occurred during the isothermal compression.
